Anne Provoost

Anne Provoost's books have won many awards and been translated all over the world. When it was published, her first juvenile's book, Mijn tante is een grindewal (1991), received the Flemish Boekenleeuw Prize and the Interprovinciale Prize for Juvenile Literature. Vallen (1994) won the Golden Owl Award and the Woutertje Pieterse Prize and was made into a film. Her last novel, De Arkvaarders (2001), won the Gouden Zoen award and others. The English translation of the book has been very successful in the USA, has been longlisted for the International IMPAC Dublin Literary Award and is being reprinted in paperback.
